Construction Company Internal system

This platform was designed and built for Connor Painting, a construction company that was already managing part of its operations through Airtable. The project involved restructuring and adjusting their existing Airtable database to support the creation of a customer-facing portal built in Softr, enabling smoother data management and more granular permission control tailored to the company's internal needs.

The portal centralizes field and office operations across four user roles — Painter, Lead Painter, Project Manager, and Admin — with role-based access control ensuring each user group interacts only with the data and actions relevant to their position.

Key Features:

• Project Management — Create, track, and manage construction projects from kickoff to completion, with full status visibility at every stage.
• Work Orders — Generate and assign work orders tied to specific projects, with traceability across the team.
• Shift Management — Log, manage, and review shifts per crew member, organized by project for easy oversight.
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS) — Upload and access Safety Data Sheets directly within the platform, keeping compliance documentation always available on-site.
• File Management — Attach and organize project-related files including photos, reports, and documents in one centralized location.
• Team Directory — A built-in directory with visibility into team members, their roles, and contact details.
• Role-Based Access Control — Permissions are strictly scoped by user group, giving each role the right level of access — nothing more, nothing less.
• Learning Pathway — A training and e-learning system built on top of the company's own internal data (job titles, users, roles, etc.), allowing the creation of structured learning paths with progress tracking and scoring for each user.
• Multilingual Support — Integrated with Weglot to allow automatic translation and language selection between English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for the full workforce.
